Sandra Oh, the award-winning actress best known for playing Dr. Cristina Yang on Grey’s Anatomy, is returning to television after a bit of a hiatus.
It's been three years since Oh's 2014 departure from Grey's, which was the last time she appeared as a series regular on a show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oh has signed on to play the titular role in Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s new series Killing Eve.
Waller-Bridge, hot off the success of her Amazon show Fleabag, penned the eight-episode spy thriller for BBC America. According to the network, the show “centers on two women; Eve is a bored, whip-smart, pay-grade security services operative whose desk-bound job doesn’t fulfill her fantasies of being a spy. Villanelle is an elegant, talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her.” Oh will play Eve, and Villanelle is yet to be cast. Waller-Bridge will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the project.
