It’s been just over two weeks since Tropical Storm Harvey ravaged the Gulf Coast of Texas, causing an estimated $108 billion worth of damage and for many people and animals to be displaced from their homes.

Bey told the Houston Chronicle, “My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help.”

In addition to headlining a Harvey relief telethon, the Lemonade singer said that she would be “working closely with [her] team at BeyGOOD as well as [her] pastor to implement a plan to help as many as [they] can.”
