Debra Messing And Sean Hayes Find Out How Well They Actually Know Each Other

Spoiler: they *truly* are best friends.

It's been 12 brutally long years since everyone's favorite hysterical on-screen family in Will & Grace left our television screens. And somehow, we all got really lucky because Grace, Jack, Will, and Karen are all back together again with a brand new sure-to-make-us-fall-on-the-floor-laughing season.

In celebration of the show's return, we sat down with Debra Messing and Sean Hayes to put their decades-long friendship to the test. Unsurprisingly, it turns out they know each other really damn well. Like, so well that we might just have to crown them the BuzzFeed BFF Test All-Time Champions. Here's what went down.

Sean wrote, “Episode where I imitate 'Grace's mom'.” Debra wrote, “When he imitated Debbie Reynolds in a scene and I farted loud.”

Sean Hayes: YAAS! I didn't want to say that [points to Debra's notepad], but that's what I wrote!

Debra Messing: We ARE best friends! Oh my god, this is so great! When he imitated Debbie Reynolds in a scene and I farted, out loud. I said it out loud!

SH: Oh, you did?

DM: I did! I was like, “I just farted.”

SH: To the audience. She was so proud of that.

DM: Coffee! Oh my god!

SH: Ahh!

DM: Oh my god. It's just this most brilliant scene where he comes in holding a cup of coffee and he does not stop talking.

SH: Yes, and they were so kind because they knew how fucking hard I was concentrating because I didn't stop talking for like three pages. So all they saw in my face was me just saying words. But I liked it because it was a big challenge.

DM: It was fantastic.
