The show was penned and produced by showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the brilliant woman who also created Amazon’s critical smash Fleabag.

And today we’ve got our first official look at the series. First, there’s Eve (Oh): a bored but whip-smart MI5 security officer.

Eve works a desk job, but dreams of becoming a spy — and has all the necessary skills, often finding herself a step ahead of her coworkers.

And on the other side of the job spectrum, there’s Villanelle (Jodie Comer): an elegant, sociopathic, talented assassin who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her.
Both women are fiercely intelligent, and through a series of events, become entangled in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse.
Along the way, they become equally obsessed with each other.
